As requested, here is my latest acquisition in the shoe department:
This is a significant moment in the building of my wardrobe: my first pair of high heels. I've always figured I was tall enough, I didn't need high heels. But I think I must have watched Carrie Bradshaw run in her heels on too many episodes of Sex and The City, and these were less than 3 bucks at Red White and Blue!!
I've worn them once, so far--to Terzo's baptism. And since I've been ice skating, my ankles are stronger, so I did pretty well for someone who has never owned a pair of heels until now!

I bought a pair of black three inch skinny heel (borderline stilletto) shoes on Saturday... they look hot. and I can actually still walk in them. So far so good, but I've only been wearing them for a few hours.
But I had to buy those knee high nylons to wear when I wear them with pants - and that makes me feel like my mom (and not hot... and much older than I am)... except she was always fixing hers b/c they would fall down... I hope that doesn't happen to me too!

I just got a pair this week too. I wore them today and I felt like I was a million feet tall. =)
Maybe we can both wear Manolo's to our weddings ;)
If I'm wearing a dress that hides my feet you can bet I will NOT be wearing heels. Well, I suppose it's up for discussion...
