the depression is like a cold blanket.

lucky me, I don't get suicidal.

But I have not gone into work yet today. Maybe lunch will help.

Send hugs.

SL, do you think the winter light makes a difference in how you feel? I have a close family member with schizophrenia and the seasonal light is a huge factor for him. We have replaced all our light bulbs with full spectrum. I don't know if it helps, but it doesn't hurt... With him, it seems to be more an issue of *changing* day length, rather than short days or long days. I'm glad you have a skylight! Anyway, hugs from out west.

Thanks ladies. I'm showered and dressed for work and off to work in a few minutes.

FYI, full spectrum lights are not a good idea for bipolar. I tried them once and then I couldn't sleep. I generally like winter. It's everything else that's broken in my life.

Off to work...in the next coupla days (don't hold your breath) I'll get a manicure and a haircut. Haven't decided how short the hair will be...

Yes, OFF TO WORK. Just in time to be behind a million school buses. No matter, I get paid to be around books. GOING NOW.

Really I am. I'm wearing my new TJ Maxx turtleneck. I look uber cute.

Do what you can, when you can.
The rest of the time hide under a blanket.

Lost my first comment. Sigh

I said something about how a new outfit does wonders on a down day and I'm proud of you for getting on with things. I hope the day gets better and better.

Lots of hugs!

Hugs! I really should knit that scarf for you. I shall print it out this weekend. The pattern, not the scarf. and it will go further into the real life queue.

Did you make it in to work? Hugs again!
