Hey, my favorite book written for people over the age of 17 is "Bright Lights, Big City."
My favorite book for the under, etc. set is "Jacob Have I loved," which I am currently re-reading. It's where the Sarah Louise came from, although she spells it Sara.
Bright Lights, Big City is, um, WAY gritty. That 2nd Person thing takes some getting used to. I'm also haveing a tough time with Jay McInerney's quote that PG Wodehouse was "deliberately minor."
But yeah...grit. Who knew?
