Walking in Memphis*--Marc Cohn.

Off to work, she goes, that Sarah Louise, the SuperLibrarian!!

WKRP in Cinncinati! I so remember the title of that show and I know I watched it as a kid; but without any visual prompts I can't remember a thing about it. I'll have to do a little net surfing now!

But what I do know is that I loved May Tyler Moore and it's virtually impossible to get the DVD's in Australia at a reasonable price - we are on a different code to the US and my DVD player is not multi-regional AAAGH!

True confessions: what I loved the most about WKRP was the theme song. It kept me coming back every time. The show was pretty funny, though. Heard an interview on the radio with the guy who played Johnny Fever.

oh, and that regional thing is CRAP. As a librarian, I think it is one of the stupidest ways to control copyright EVER.

And I can't wait til we get beyond DVDs to just digital data (like on a flash drive or ipods.) DVDs do not hold up under many uses, not like videotapes.
